Message of Condolences

It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of our beloved brother, friend, Vice President of the Confederation of African Tennis and President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation, the late Engr. Ifedayo Akindoju,.

Mr. Akindoju was not only a visionary leader but also a passionate advocate for the growth of tennis in Nigeria and across Africa. His dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment touched the lives of countless players, coaches, and colleagues, leaving an indelible mark on our sport.

“Dayo” was a true friend — a man of his word, guided by wisdom, strong values, and deep commitment to his family. His presence and leadership will be deeply missed, not only by African Tennis but by the global tennis family

On behalf of the Confederation of African Tennis, and in my personal capacity, I extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and the entire tennis community in Nigeria, across Africa, and throughout the world of tennis. His loss is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him and working alongside him.
