The President of the Confederation of African Tennis (CAT), Mr. Jean Claude Talon, attended The Night of Tributes held in Abuja in memory of the late Engr. Ifedayo Akindoju.
The ceremony, marked by deep emotion and respect, brought together the Nigerian tennis family and leading figures of the sport, including Engr. Sani Ndanusa, Honorary Life Vice President of the CAT, former Minister of Sports, and former NTF President, Mr. Victor Ochei NTF President along with many who shared Engr. Akindoju’s passion for tennis.
During the event, the NTF President announced that the two pavilions at the Centre Court of the National Tennis Centre will henceforth be named “The Ifedayo Akindoju Pavilions”, in lasting tribute to his remarkable contribution to tennis in Nigeria.
Engr. Akindoju’s legacy will continue to inspire future generations of players, coaches, and leaders across Africa.
