The President of the Confederation of African Tennis, Jean-Claude Talon, took part as a speaker at the Kikuxi Villas Club Tennis Forum, organised by the Angolan Tennis Federation on 28 and 29 November 2025.
Mr Talon presented “CAT Vision for Tennis in Africa”, outlining the Confederation’s direction for development and growth on the continent.
The Forum covered several themes related to tennis development and high-performance sport. Platini Mendes, President of the Angolan Tennis Federation, presented “Tennis Program in Angola”. Salma Mouelhi, ITF Vice President, led the session on “The Winning Mindset / Mental Habits Strategies”. Luís de Sousa spoke about “Parents in High-Performance Sports”. Jorge de Amilibia Estrany addressed “Sport–Tennis in 21st-Century Society: Governance and New Threats”. Tapiwa Marobela-Masunga, ITF Development Officer, presented “ITF | CAT Player Pathway”. Jerry Silva discussed “Legal Intervention in Professional Sports”. Miguel Salvato Trigo concluded the technical programme with “Artificial Intelligence at the Service of Sports Marketing”.
