During its Annual General Meeting held on 12 December 2025, the Confederation of African Tennis took an important step forward in its rebranding process with a formal consultation on the future name of the organisation. This consultation aimed to align the organisation’s identity with international standards and reinforce the visibility and unity of African tennis at continental and global levels.

Following discussions and a vote by the member National Federations, a clear majority expressed their preference for the name Tennis Africa. This outcome confirms the collective will to adopt a modern, strong and easily identifiable brand that reflects the ambition and growing impact of African tennis.

The new name, Tennis Africa, will come into effect in 2026 and will accompany the launch of the organisation’s new visual identity, marking a new chapter in the development, governance and promotion of tennis across the African continent.
