The 2026 BNP Paribas World Team Cup – Africa Qualification Event was held in Rabat, Morocco, at Club Wifaq Tennis from 30 March to 3 April 2026, bringing together the best wheelchair tennis teams on the continent.
As the third of the four regional qualification events for the ITF’s flagship team competition, the African qualifiers featured six men’s teams and three women’s teams representing a total of six nations: Morocco, Cameroon, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya and Egypt.
In the men’s competition, Morocco delivered a strong performance throughout the week to lift the title. After the round robin phase, the host nation confirmed its dominance with a 2-0 win over Egypt in the final. Egypt finished as runners-up, while South Africa secured third place following a 2-0 victory against Cameroon. Ghana claimed fifth place after defeating Kenya 3-0.
In the women’s competition, Morocco once again stood out, finishing top of the group with two clear 3-0 victories over Kenya and Egypt. Kenya secured second place after overcoming Egypt with the same scoreline.
With these results, Morocco’s men’s and women’s teams have both qualified for the BNP Paribas World Team Cup 2026, which will take place in Orlando, USA, from 16 to 19 September 2026.
