The World Tennis Africa Junior Davis Cup & Billie Jean King Cup Juniors Qualifying for the 16&U officially got underway today in Polokwane, South Africa, bringing together some of the continent's most promising young tennis players for five days of team competition.

Six boys' teams – Algeria, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, South Africa and Zimbabwe – and eight girls' teams – Algeria, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, South Africa, Togo, Tunisia and Zimbabwe – are competing for the opportunity to secure Africa's qualification places for the World Tennis Junior Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup Juniors Finals.

The Team Competition will run until 25 July before the African Junior Championships 2026 (Individual Event) take place from 27 to 30 July at the same venue.
