The 4th CAT Zone IV Members Meeting was successfully held on 31st July 2026 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The meeting was chaired by CAT Zone IV President Wanjiru Mbugua-Karani, with ITF Development Officer for Eastern Africa, Thierry Ntwali, on hand to present the State of CAT Zone IV, updating member nations on the region’s progress, key developments, challenges and opportunities.

National Federations shared updates on their activities over the past year, exchanged best practices, and discussed strategies to strengthen governance, improve year-round planning, develop players, coaches and officials, and build stronger collaborations across the region.

The meeting once again proved to be a valuable platform for learning, sharing ideas and working together to advance tennis across CAT Zone IV.
