The U-14 African Junior Tennis Championships on Hard Court has come to an end after one week of intense competition by tennis players from ten countries across the African continent totaling 23 boys and 26 girls for the Grade A championship. 

The countries include: Algeria, Botswana, Kenya, Equatorial Guinea, Morocco, Nigeria, Madagascar, Zimbabwe and Tunisia.

The event ably hosted by the Federation Royal Marocaine de Tennis (FRMT) was held from 7-12 September, 2026 in Mohammedia, and was organized by the Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) with the support of World Tennis (WT).

Girls’ Singles

Champion of Africa: Dina Jaoid (MAR)

Runner-up: Yaccout El Rhaffouli (MAR)

Third place: Lina Srihi (TUN)

Girls’ Doubles: 

Champions of Africa: Line Lassoued and Emna Bartaguiz (TUN)

Runner-up: Dina Jaoid and Yacout El Rhaffouli (MAR)

Boys’ Singles

Champion of Africa: Soulaimane Jamji (MAR)

Runner-up: Youssef Lahmar (TUN)

Third Place: Reda Dhimni (MAR)

Boys’ Doubles

Champions of Africa: Soulaimane Jamji and Adam Smihi (MAR)

Runner-up: Adem Mabroukki and Youssef Lahmar (TUN)

The closing ceremony accompanied by the trophy presentation was a grand celebration of not just the winners, but also the dedication of the participants and the organizers of the event. 

The Confederation of African Tennis is grateful to the Federation Royale Marocaine de Tennis and the Royal Tennis Club de Mohammeda for the thorough job they did in hosting this major event for African tennis development. CAT also extends our warmest congratulations to all the participants, especially the newly-crowned African champions.
