The 17th Edition of the African Cup of Nations of Tennis to be Held in Abidjan
The African Cup of Nations of Tennis will make its return to West Africa for its 17th edition, scheduled from November 24 to 28, 2026, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
This major event in our calendar is part of the ongoing effort to develop and promote the sport across the entire continent. The tournament will bring together twelve teams.
The competition will feature the host country, the six highest-ranked countries in the African Nations Ranking, and the top nation from each of the five continental zones. The final selection of the qualified delegations will be strictly based on the official ranking to be published on October 7, 2026.
From a sporting perspective, this edition will inaugurate a new mixed-team competition format with Prize Money. Each tie between two countries will consist of a women's singles, a men's singles, and a mixed doubles match. This structure is designed to highlight collective performance and team cohesion.
