Le second site has gathered at the « Tennis Club de la Marsa » in Tunis, Tunisia, the host nation and seven African Nations : South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Mauritius and Namibia.

Three African nations: South Africa, Tunisia and Egypt have insured their accession to the Europe Africa Group II in 2007 after very close ties with very high tennis level sometimes. Lets note that the South African team has presented its best players such as Wesley MOODIE (120 ATP), Rik DE VOEST (147 ATP), Fritz WOLMARANS (507 ATP) and Jeff COETZEE, meanwhile the Tunisian team was composed by experimented Walid JALLALI, Malek JAZIRI and young players Wael KILANI and Slah MBAREK in the absence of Heithem ABID due to his engagement with his University in USA. The Egyptian Tennis Team was composed by Mohamed and Karim MAAMOUN, Omar HEDAYET and Ahmed EL SHEBL.

It is important to mention that teams of Mauritius, Namibia, Iceland and San Marino were retrograded to the Europe Africa Group IV in 2008. Bravo again to the African Teams and we wish to see next years only African Zones as existing in the other Continents !!!
