About the CAT


The Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) is a continental sports organisation, which gathers 50 African countries.

The Tunisian, Tarak Cherif is the President of the Confederation of African Tennis (CAT).

The CAT is currently based in Tunis. CAT works very closely with the International Tennis Federation (ITF). The new dynamic, has encouraged London to delegate many projects to CAT on the continent.

For its administration, CAT has assigned Hichem Riani as the General Manager since 1st September 2005 who is overseeing the job of Miss. Issem Essaïs the Head of CAT Projects Coordinator and Miss. Nadine CIZA the CAT Administrator

The major challenge of CAT is to make tennis one of the most popular sports in Africa, while imposing its top players at the highest level
