The eight clay courts of the “Nairobi Club” in Kenya hosted the ITF/CAT African 14&U Clay Court Championship (AJCCC) from 24 February to 1 March 2025, which was preceded by a "Warm-Up" Tournament held on the same courts from 19 to 22 February.
This first major event of the year for players aged 14 & Under, organized under the aegis of the Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) with the support of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and Tennis Kenya KLTA (TK), was a remarkable success, both in terms of participation of the best African athletes and the quality of organization.
32 girls and 31 boys, accompanied by 19 coaches and representing 15 countries, took part in the Championship, which was marked by North African dominance in both singles and doubles competitions.

The trophy for best team was won by Tunisia, ahead of Morocco (2nd) and Egypt (3rd).
Here are the 15 countries that took part in the 2025 CAJCTB: Algeria, Burundi, Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Kenya, Madagascar, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
The Closing and Trophy Ceremony of the CAJCTB was marked by the presence of Ms. Wanjii Mbugua-Karani, Vice President of CAT, Mr James Kenani, President of Tennis Kenya, Mr Matthias Nalyanya, President of the Uganda Tennis Association, as well as several officials and Kenyan tennis fans.
CAT once again thanks Tennis Kenya for hosting and successfully organizing this major African youth event and extends its congratulations to all participants, especially the winners.
