14 & Under African Masters 2016

The Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) organizes the “African 14 & under Masters” which gathers the best African boys and girls tennis players in 2016 based on their results registered during the African 14 & under circuit including the African Junior Championships 2016.The African 14 years & under Masters for this year, will be organized in Nairobi – Kenya from 7 to 13 November 2016 at the Nairobi Club offering the opportunity to 8 boys and 8 girls to participate. The selection of the players was based on the following:
  • a) 2 Players: ranked 1st and 2nd at the African Junior Champion that was held in Pretoria in March 2016.

  • b) 6 Players: the best ranked players at the African 14 & U Circuit on 12 October 2016.

The selected players are:
    Boys
    • 1st - Damien Laporte (SEY)
    • 2nd - Ryan Randiek (KEN)
    • 3rd - Micheal Osewa (NGR)
    • 4th - Khololwam Montsi (RSA)
    • 5th - Christopher Fok Kow (MRI)
    • 6th - Andreas Scott (RSA)
    • 7th - Elyes Marouani (TUN)
    • 8th - Gabriel Friday (NGR)

    Alternates players by order of priority (in case of withdrawals):
    • 1st / 9th - Carl Roothman (RSA)
    • 2nd / 10th- Kruger Connor (RSA)
    • 3rd / 11th - Charles Alipoe-Tchotchodji (TOG)

    Gils
    • 1st - Aisha Niyonkuru (BDI)
    • 2nd - Makayla Loubser (RSA)
    • 3rd - Lara Van Der Merwe (RSA)
    • 4th - Sneha Kotecha (KEN)
    • 5th - Rochelle Pienaar (RSA)
    • 6th - Barakat Quadre (NGR)
    • 7th - Delien Kleinhans (RSA)
    • 8th - Mary Love Edward (NGR)

    Alternates players by order of priority (in case of withdrawals):

    • 3rd /11th - Gina Moolman (NAM)

    The final list of the players in case of withdrawals will be circulated by CAT by 25 Octobre 2016.
