Morocco won the 4 team titles during the African Team Championships (AJTC) for the 14 and 16 and under categories for both boys and girls held in Hammamet – Tunisia from 25 to 30 June 2018. The AJTC is considered a qualifying event for the World Junior Tennis that will take place in Prostejov from 6 to 11 August and qualifying event for Junior Davis Cup and Junior Fed Cup that will take place in Budapest – Hungary from 25 to 30 September 2018.

Morocco will be the only country representing the African continent during these events.

The AJTC saw the participation of 21 teams coming from 10 African countries: South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Morocco, Egypt and Tunsia
