During his last visit to Mauritania, Mr. Tarak Cher Mr. Tarak Cherif Mr. Tarak Cherif, President of the Confederation of if African Tennis was received on Wednesday 8th January 2020 by His Excellency Taleb Ould Taleb Ould Sid'Ahmed, Mauritanian Minister for Employment, You Sid'Ahmed th and Sports in his Cabinet. Also present were Messrs: Mohamed Lemine Lemrabot Mohamed Lemine Lemrabot Mohamed Lemine Lemrabot, President of the Mauritanian Tennis Federation, Souleymane Diagana Souleymane Diagana Souleymane Diagana Director of Sports and Mohamed F Mohamed Feily Antar Mohamed Feily Antar Adviser to eily Antar the Minister.

Several subjects were raised during this meeting including, in particular, the improvement of the tennis facilities in Mauritania and the establishment of new courts, the introduction of mini tennis and "Play & Stay" in primary schools as well as the development of the “Junior Tennis Initiative” program set up in Mauritania few years ago by the International Tennis Federation. His Excellency, the Minister has promised to carry out the necessary follow-up both within his department and with the Minister of Education; for his part, Mr. Tarak Cherif was committed to continuing to provide the Mauritanian Tennis Federation with all the support of the Confederation of African Tennis.
